Volunteers needed to teach elementary students about financial literacy and / or career & work readiness skills using JA materials in the following districts:
- Albany (8th graders)
- Cohoes (8th graders)
Middle School volunteerism is open to UAlbany faculty, staff members or Graduate students.
What to expect:
- Virtual training (45 min)
- You will be matched with one grade level / classroom.
- JA Staff will introduce you to the teacher. From there, you will schedule the dates and times with the teacher that works for your schedule.
- Commitment is 4 in-person lessons during school hours. (NOTE: The shift indicated on this form is only a sample.)
- Option to teach 1 lesson per week across 4 weeks, or in a more condensed timeframe.
- Options to teach during April - May 2023
