About the Role We Are Artistic is a youth‑led nonprofit that uses creativity, community, and storytelling to uplift young people across DC and internationally. As a Community Impact Ambassador, you will help strengthen our presence in the community by connecting youth, families, and partners to our programs and mission.
Responsibilities
- Share information about workshops, events, and volunteer opportunities with schools, community centers, and local organizations
- Represent We Are Artistic at outreach events, tabling opportunities, and community gatherings
- Build positive relationships with youth, families, and partners to increase engagement
- Support recruitment for youth participants, volunteers, and creative collaborators
- Provide feedback and ideas that help expand our community impact
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfort engaging with youth, families, and community partners
- Passion for arts, youth empowerment, and community building
- Reliability, professionalism, and a collaborative mindset
- No prior experience required — training and support provided
