The West Hill Neighborhood Association is looking for volunteer assistance with snow shoveling for residents with limited mobility. Volunteers will specifically focus on front steps, sidewalks, and curb cuts that are covered by plows. All shovels and salt will be provided.
Ideally, all volunteers should be available up to 7 days a week and are expected to shovel for up to 1-2 hours. All participants will meet on the corner of Judson Street and Livingston Ave Albany 12206 promptly at 5 pm within 24 hours of snowfall.
Separate emails will be sent out to all prospective volunteers within a 24 hour period prior to the event to notify of the upcoming need.
We CANNOT provide any transportation to or from the event. Carpooling or buses encouraged.
