Refugee Welcome Center and Love Your Block Garden Clean Up

The City of Albany's Love Your Block program the West Hill Refugee Welcome Center (RWC) are partnering together to get the RWC Community Garden started for the growing season. Volunteers will be expected to shovel and spread mulch and compost, remove weeds, prep beds for planting, transplant starts, and potentially plant seeds. Volunteers should come prepared to get their hands in the dirt. Love Your Block will be providing all tools and materials including gardening gloves and additional water. We strongly encourage you to bring your own gloves and water bottle if available.
