Who We Are

We are a local program, of the American Cancer Society. The HopeClub name reflects the “hope” that the American Cancer Society shares every day for a world with less cancer and a “club” atmosphere characterized by a warm welcoming community focused setting. Together, we provide information and assistance for anyone living with cancer, and for anyone that supports someone living with cancer in whatever manner works for them.

What We Do

We provide support, education and wellness programs for Patients& Families- members can get help navigating the cancer experience, learn how to deal with the appearance-related side-effects of cancer, rides to treatment can be arranged in addition to a range of other services Activities for Body & Mind - A variety of classes including Yoga, Zumba,NIA and Core Exercise keep members active both physically and mentally. Support & Networking Groups - gatherings for people with various cancers, cancer that has returned, living with loss and groups for young adults, families and friends. Social Get-Togethers - a key component of HopeClub, card games, holiday dinners, parties,and luncheons are held where members enjoy the company of one another. Educational - Lectures are provided by medical, legal and health experts on topics relevant to living with cancer. Kids Club - helps children and teens express their feelings about cancer in their lives -- either their own illness or that of a family member of friend.
