Washington Irving Educational Center

We offer Adult Education in GED (General Educational Development) Test preparation, English as a Second Language (ESL) and Construction. Rolling admission allows individuals to being their journey at any point in the academic year.

We offer GED Preparation classes at:

• Washington Irving Educational Center: M-F, 9:00 am-12:00 pm and 12:30 pm-2:30 pm
• Steinmetz Homes Family Investment Center: M-F, 9:00 am -12:00 pm and 12:30 pm -2:30 pm; T/R, 5:00 pm-8:00 pm
• SCCC Center City: M/W, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

We offer English as a Second Language classes at:

• Washington Irving Educational Center: M-F, 9:00 am-12:00 pm and 12:30 pm-2:30 pm
• Steinmetz Homes Family Investment Center: M-F, 9:00 am -12:00 pm and 12:30 pm -2:30 pm; T/R, 5:00 pm-8:00 pm
• Bornt Public Library: M/W, 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm

We are part of the Schenectady City School District and follow their academic calendar and snow day policy.
