Trinity Alliance Inc. is a nonprofit organization located in Albany's South End Neighborhood. They offer a variety of services aimed at community support and development including Afterschool Care, Foster Care Prevention, Food Pantries, Supportive Housing, Urban Grief, and Albany Bike Rescue. They are also a project recipient of the Love Your Block program for 2024.
Love Your Block will be coordinating neighborhood beautification efforts to help make the surrounding blocks a cleaner more enjoyable place for residents. Volunteers are needed to pick up litter, remove overgrowth and weeds, spread mulch, and prepare sites to transplant trees. Please notify the Love Your Block Fellow, Erin Johanns, if you require any accommodations to participating in this event.
All volunteers should come prepared in appropriate work attire and bring a water bottle and work gloves if they have them. Love Your Block is able to provide water, snacks, gardening gloves, and all necessary tools and supplies to complete tasks. Volunteers should plan on bringing their own lunch or lunch money. Love Your Block staff are unable to provide rides to volunteers to and from campus.
