The NYIC is hosting a Family Preparedness Clinic this Friday, March 21st! There will be a Family Preparedness Know Your Rights Workshop and Legal Clinic. We are looking to engage volunteers in the following roles:
**NO LEGAL BACKGROUND REQUIRED FOR ANY OF THE ROLES**
- 3:00pm - 4:00pm: Set Up - Volunteers will set up the event with materials, tables, and chairs.
- 4:00pm - 4:30pm and/or 6pm - 6:30pm: Sign in Sheet - Volunteers will support with signing in community members before their appointment begins.
- 4pm - 6pm and/or 6pm - 8pm: Witnesses - Volunteers will be stationed at an appointment table. Volunteers will be asked to sign a document that states they witnessed the appointment.
- 7:30pm - 8pm : Breakdown - Volunteers will support with breakdown of the event. For example, putting away materials, tables and chairs away.
