Volunteer Opportunities From: United Way of the Greater Capital Region

Volunteer: 518 Community Project : Help Every Child Thrive

Born Thriving Diaper Drive & Summer Meal Kit Assembly: In partnership with CDPHP, United Way will host a community-wide volunteer opportunity supporting the Born Thriving initiative, which focuses on ensuring every child has the resources they need to grow, learn, and succeed at every stage of life. This volunteer opportunity is comprised of two parts. Volunteers can support the Born Thriving Diaper Drive benefiting organizations that serve the Capital Region’s youngest residents. Or help assemble Summer Meal Starter Kits, which will be distributed through partners in the Summer Meals Collaborative to help children stay engaged through the summer months while having access to nutritious meals.
