Albany Free School and Love Your Block Raised Garden Bed Construction

The City of Albany's Love Your Block program and Albany Free School are partnering together to build 4 raised beds for the school garden. All materials will be provided by Love Your Block with tools borrowed from the Albany Free School and Historic Foundation's Tool Library. Volunteers will be expected to lift objects up to 25 to 50lbs, take exact measurements, and use power tools. Come learn some basic garden and carpentry skills and help bring more fresh produce to the neighborhood and Free School Students!
